I enjoyed a really nice weekend – ate lots of good food, including one of my favorites baby back ribs, spent time with my daughter, finished the solo campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and am now working my way through Special Ops.
My chemotherapy treatments will start this Thursday. This will be my regimen for the next 5 months as part of the clinical trial:
- Paclitaxel IV over 60 minutes once weekly in weeks 1-12
- Dose-dense doxorubicin hydrochloride IV over 5-10 minutes and cyclophosphamide IV over 5-30 minutes (ddAC) once in weeks 13, 15, 17 and 19
- Bevacizumab IV over 30-90 minutes once in weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17
And, then surgery after chemo. At least my oncologist is very nice looking. A friend of mine has nicknamed him ”Dr. Eye Candy”.

You really know how to enjoy a weekend, good food, playing video games and spending time with family. Glad your weekend spent with Kelly was a good one. I continue to pray that through God you will have that joy and peace through it all. Must be nice to have a Dr. called Dr. Eye Candy. Be Blessed!
